Spring has been hesitant to appear in the Midwest of the US this year but it’s thawed a bit the last day or two.  Thank the Goddess, because I was about ready to freeze over for good.  This Southern California Girl is not doing well in this COLD weather. 

I am so happy to announce the release of the third installment in The Sword of Rhiannon epic fantasy series: Sword of Stone!  This one is a bit longer than the other two (about 25,000 words longer) but I had a lot of fun writing it. 

I’m taking a break from the series this summer and have started on a new science fiction/fantasy/romance that I’m having a blast writing right now.  I’m not really sure where it will ultimately land in the genre spectrum, but I think these books will find their readers pretty easily. 

I hope to be back into the epic fantasy this fall.  Daughter of the Forgotten Tree, the next book in the series, is about 1/3 of the way written already, however I’m thinking about writing a novella for one of the side characters in the series that will go in between Sword of Stone and Daughter of the Forgotten Tree.  So I guess it will be book 3.5, lol.  I’m hope, hope, hoping to have them both out by Christmas if I can get these science fiction/fantasy/romance thingys done by the end of the summer…

I hope you all are enjoying your spring.  I’m waiting until the first part of May before I plant, just in case we get more frost, but I’m itching to start planting flowers and herbs.  I need to dig in the dirt and walk around my yard barefoot.  My husband, Richard, and I are headed back down to Pensacola for our 31st Wedding Anniversary in a couple of weeks.  I’m so excited to get out of Indiana.  LOL  I’ll have plenty of pictures that I’ll post when we get back.  I hope the weather is perfect.  I need to watch some breath-taking sunsets while sipping some strong margaritas on the white-sand Florida beaches.
